Thank you for choosing Front Porch Pantry!!
Hope you enjoy :)
Yeilds: 20-22 Cookies
You Will Need:
Ingredients-
Front Porch Pantry Mix
3/4 C. Soften Butter
2 Egg Yolks (room temp)
1 Tbsp Vanilla Extract or Paste
Sea Salt for Top (Optional)
Equipment-
Electric Mixer
Mixing Bowl
Cookie Scoop
Greased Cookie Sheet
Cling Wrap(Optional)
Cooling Rack
Step By Step:
Start by adding the softened butter and sugar mixture to a bowl. Cream together with an electric mixer, for 2 minutes or until light and fluffy.
Once your sugar mixture is light and fluffy. Add the egg yolks and vanilla, again mix for 2 minutes or until your mixture is pale and fluffy.
Then add your dry ingredients slowly until the dough is completely formed.
After your dough is formed you can fold in your chocolate chips.
Scoop the dough into 20-22 balls. Either bake them right away or cover them with cling wrap and chill overnight (best flavor).
Baking:
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
Put cookie dough onto pan allowing room for some spreading.
Bake for 10-12 minutes(when the edges are light golden brown)
After taking the cookies out of the oven I like to leave the cookies on the pan for another 5-10 minutes before putting them on the cooling rack. So they continue to cook on the pan, I find them turn out better that way.
OPTIONAL!! After you take cookies out of the oven you can sprinkle with sea salt.
Allow to cool 10 minutes on cooling rack.
Enjoy!!
